Bridge over Pepper Creek
stone
Arch - 13' in diameter
2015

This dry-laid stone bridge is an important link in the sculpture trail we are developing on our property in the half-mile stretch between our house and Matfield Green. It was built by Luke Koch, a master stone mason in Cottonwood Falls, Ks. The project received loving attention as Luke's first bridge and a work highly visible from the Scenic Byway.

The photograph was taken by my eight year old son, Luke. It received a blue ribbon at the 4-H exhibition at the Chase County Fair.
